but hey, as someone who also just figured it out as i went.. guess what? i had a blast and am bigly liking where i am now . even if i left potential profits along the way.. as i traded some for financial security.

Same here. Did I sell at tops before? Absolutely, helped me buy a house, pay off student loans, buy a car, take trips, etc. I was poor and those looked out of reach forever.
Do I wish I bought more? Of course, I think we all did. Do I wish I never spent those coins? Not at all.
I don't get as upset about about people wishing for dips in price, because in the long run it doesn't matter to me. I won't be selling through them, I'll most likely accumulate more. My mindset is more along the lines of, "Oh no, my BTC is only worth 75x, not 80x", knowing full well it will rebound soon enough and be worth even more.
