Well , it is a good habit to adopt in trading and another thing important investors needs to take very serious is to be consistent with accumulation of your investment while you are making other plans. Taking decisions to be firm with bitcoin investment and to continue accumulating is the best decision that an investor would ever make, with a decision like this it will be possible for an investment to come out successful. 
Having an emergency fund is good but don't make it seem as if having more emergency fund is better, the focus should be on to accumulate more bitcoin. Whenever income comes in , it is an opportunity yo buy more bitcoin
