Liverpool was having a great season until the last two months that they got eliminated from the English FA Cup competition, UEFA Champions League competition, got beaten by Newcastle in the Caraboa Cup final and have been dropping points in the league since then.
I was surprise how Liverpool was eliminated from the champions league, and the FA cup, but if we check how Liverpool played in the champions league, and the FA cup, their opponents performed better than them, so to be honest, I will say their opponents really deserve to get a win. I was thinking they will be able to win more than 1 trophy this season, but unfortunately they will be winning just the premier league title this season, but I know that Arsenal can’t take the premier league title from Liverpool it’s already late, before the season ends, we already know who will be winning the premier league title this season.
Had it been that there was another serious contender for the English Premier League title this season, I think Liverpool might probably finish the season trophyless in a campaign many were tipping them to end with at least two trophies. If they don't improve from their recent poor runs, they'll probably have a bad campaign next season
Liverpool performance is okay this season, even as their is decline in their performance, it’s not really worst. Liverpool were defeated in the champions league, and FA cup because they played against difficult opponents, and even if a team is in form, you don’t expect them to win all their matches. Definitely slot will try and improve Liverpool’s performance by next season, am sure he will want to achieve more than what he will achieve this season.
