I don't think De Gea will return to the United as he's comfortably playing for Fiorentina. However, who knows he can change his mind. It may happen as long as United offer a little increased salary for him.
As for that observation, it makes sense considering so many goal keepers, which are 27 - 35 years old range still perform very well. Even some are just getting even better.
Lastly about Onana, they can't only concentrate to him. He obviously lacks of competition. I'd rather try to bring a quality goalie (not De Gea) to add more competition. The bigger pressure, the better for the player.
Andre Onana can not beat the debate when it comes to the best save statistics against David De Gea. We've watch the huge difference between both goaltenders and I must confess, the Spaniard beats the Cameroon international in every angle. Manchester United must be really grieving to get David De Gea back to the team because he's one of the very best goalie for the club. What happen that got everything twisted to this extent? The Red Devils failed to accomplish their goal but ended up not hitting the appropriate spot for David De Gea, they fail to concord with David De Gea terms and conditions when he was about to agree a new contract proposal.
