Most definitely. It takes only one with understanding to really realize the fact that short term volatility and fluctuations isn’t meant to be an investor’s problem, and that all that they’re meant to do is hodl for the long term. Some people are blinded by short term gain, thereby resorting to short term trading, having to wait for months so that the price of Bitcoin can come down before they can buy. And one thing about this strategy is that, you’ll always be glued to the market movement, and any single downturn would inflict fear in you and could even make you end up selling your coin because you’re trying to avoid more losses.
Every trader once in a while need a volatility, it's an advantage for every trader even if the investors don't care about it. In the last 3 weeks, Bitcoin hasn't been that volatile but the way the market moves, many altcoins has bleed more than what Bitcoin has loss in the last 2 months and the leverage has bring a lot of profit for me even though some were hurtful and didn't bring any profit because they hit my stop loss, volatility brings more opportunities to the market.
As for investor, if there is high sell off with greed, it makes DCA even more better to execute because imagine that you had the opportunity to be buying Bitcoin weekly on the weekly candle at every 10% or you bought monthly when the price was going at 20% on average, you will quickly average on your buy levels and don't have to bother if eventually the price went down even more, keep buying as long as the money is there, you will enjoy the benefits of holding.
