Given that almost every country has economic challenges, I’d like to hear your personal opinions, where do you think is the best country to retire in?

Before choosing the country i will like to retire in, let me start by the way of analyzing on my reasons why i cant go or settle for some countries despite their development, because life is not about being recognized and well developed, we also have to consider having peace of mind when we are living in it.
UK would have been my preferred country, but increased tax payment will not allow me to consider them, US would have been my second country to have in mind, but the rate in crime and social violence is high and security level is not too perfect with gangsters using guns in US, now i will prefer Canada, despite the cold, i still see it as more economical to live there and thrive from the remote regions down to the developed cities.
