I actually saw of Pi Network coin got overhyped many years ago and now, with the pitiful price at $1.6 lmao. Is it really worth all those years and times invest in such coin even if you received it by airdrop mean. Sure it's free but there were many other airdrops back then you can get for free and able to sell them right away, to use that free money to invest in bitcoin/alts before they become too big right now. Come on, Pi coin is the definition of an average coin but overhyped to become the next big thing. Yeah, I think I get it, a time trap that took over your time instead on other alt coins.
That's right, with the older airdrops that have been profitable, they're more worth it. But with PI, many have called it as a scam and even I, I don't think that it will ever be launched. Well, they've proved me wrong and they're launched and I think that's already enough. Many are still holding it and there are folks that still have locked PIs that they're waiting for it and hopefully for those locked ones, there is still value in it. I think those that have held for so long and was able to receive hefty amount of PIs, they're the real winners of it.

This is something that can happen to any of the "coins" that offer airdrops and freebies of any kind. We know that some might not even launch or let you cash out fast, but that's this "game". That's why we all try to find projects that will do what they say that they will do. IMO, being grungy about not getting rich from a free airdrop sounds like overkill, but I do understand some frustration if the time is more than long.
