When I first saw the report that Sporting's asking price for Viktor Gyokeres was above 85 million pounds, I frowned at it because o thought it was too outrageous for a player of his status. Of a truth, we know he's a very prolific striker but that initial price i think was above what I thought of his value. Now that Sporting have reduced it to less than 60 million, Arsenal must act fast if they truly want to to be competitive next season. I personally think that they're not considered as a strong contender for any competition this season because of lack of striker. Viktor Gyokeres would be a perfect man for Mikel Arteta's team ahead of next season.
Arsenal will act fast if they're keen on securing a deal for their top target. Arsenal sporting director, Andrea Berta is doing his job to make possible links with this particular player. Viktor Gyokeres is a prolific striker for FC Porto. He banged good number of goals for the club and have become the frontrunner for the club when it comes to counter attacks. Managers putting him on their radar in next summer, he's worth every hype based on his stunning performance. What I do consider is his price tag smashed on him by Porto. It's weigh more higher for a player of his status, remember he's yet to lift any significant UEFA trophies which are the Europa League and UEFA Champions League. These are important for any player to acquire them in his collection.
