I won't encourage David De Gea not to return to Manchester United. He's a club legend and legend don't hold grudges against their club. Manchester United management thought they were doing the best thing back then by supporting their then manager Eric Ten Hag. You know Ten Hag never wanted David De Gea in his team, and Manchester United management couldn't keep De Gea in the club and be paying him while it was obvious that the coach don't like him. It was only going to create more chaos in the team, so the best was to let him go. Now that the era of Ten Hag is over and the club wants their legend back, I don't see a reason why he shouldn't go back, provided they can reach an agreement that will benefit both parties.
Is that so? I don’t see David de Gea statue in Old Trafford, where is the love? Let’s not even talk about the way he was kicked out of the club. Manchester United got rid of David de Gea and brought Andre Onana just because Erik ten Hag wanted a goalkeeper who could kick long passes. But it wasn’t just Erik ten Hag, United fans wanted him gone as well and they were excited to have the Champions League wonder Onana as their new goalkeeper. Manchester United don’t get to pull that club loyalty card on De Gea. I hope he doesn’t return to Manchester United.
