Though I agree with you that Athletico Madrid aren't winning the Spanish league title this season, I don't even see any reason why some will even think that way, I know that the game of soccer isn't something we can actually predict but with the look of things, it is very obvious that Athletico Madrid aren't serious for the really thing again, as for making the league their major concern, yea the fail in this aspect but at the starting of this season, we saw how they were thriving to make a good difference in the league race but a time came when they started flopping, I never thought that Athletico Madrid will slide but we saw it happen, I understand what you meant, atleast they would've given their all to the league title if actually the wmat to achieve the title this season but we should also understand that such may not be possible because there were other competitions they were into which are the champions league and Copa Del Rey, so there is no way they wouldn't have given attention to the UEFA champions league even though they don't do same to Copa Del Rey.
We wouldn't have known what would have happen in Barcelona match with Realbetis if Real Madrid had won, it is a good one for Real Madrid for Barcelona to draw but this may not happen again so they shouldn't be allowing this lapses to persist so that they won't regret at the end.
