This season's Real Madrid is indeed different from previous seasons. There are several factors that are very big influences, not only because some of their main defenders are injured. But also the departure of Kross.

And if we look again, sometimes, the tactics used by Ancelotti are also quite strange and not like usual, which actually harms Real Madrid itself.

As happened in their last match against Valencia, how could they lose in this match even though this was a very good match to narrow the points between the opponent and Barcelona?

In my opinion, this season, their winning spirit and mentality are not that good, even losing several times with late goals from the opponent in the last minutes. Hopefully, this will not really affect their focus and performance in UCL.

Even as I'm pained about the outcome of the Valencia game, imagine an out of form Valencia beating Real Madrid 2 - 1 at the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu it's really unacceptable but it is what it is. Think is, every game comes with its own approach and the fact that the coach doesn't have a steady or stable starting 11 apart from the attackers. It's been one injury in the defence and sometimes the midfield to another. It's so true that the departure of Koni Kroos is a big blow to the midfield but I think the club has adapted to his retirement and his replacement is really trying. Real Madrid just has to fix it's defence.
