Would you be able to write a script that is able to save and retrieve the last visited page number, opens the WO thread, passing the information to the URL and opens the thread on the page where you left it last time?
IDK exact ways, but in theory, if the browser is able to inject scripts (developer mode), you could easily refresh a bookmark on every page load and then just call that bookmark from the script that runs after clicking the according stream deck button.
Would be nice. The "Show new replies" seems to not cooperate well with how browsers will reload the page sometimes when a computer is rewoken from sleep. I have taken to clicking on the last-post-I viewed's title which refreshes the page with new stuff but keeps me where I left off.
Alright. I am always just refreshing the page (tab) which i kept open in my browser. Well, mostly always. You might want to know that i have hundreds of tabs opened (and restored on restart) in my browser. Don't shoot me, but that's about the general way i tend to organise things. Visible. A bookmark in a menu is saved and forgotten most of the time for months, if not years, and there are multiple bookmarks in my bookmark bar's folder hierarchy, which i created because of needs, not because of cognition.
And yes, this is my ASD, mixed with "mild" ADD. I felt like it was time to let you know, anyway. Maybe it makes some of you easier to handle the (maybe interesting) OT rubbish i post to the WO every now and then - or more often, sometimes - which i would maybe have been locked out of almost any thread/forum with more strict rules or even kicked off boards for.
Back to the point: refreshing works with stored tabs, even if you "like" broswing many opened tabs, but there are naturally some complaints for security reasons by keeping tabs open. In my case, my password strength is the only protection.
