Investing in shitcoin or any high risk assets should be done with  caution and a clear understanding of potential risk and reward.
A new investor should not think of shitcoins as an investment because they don't have the potential to grow overtime instead most of them depreciates overtime. Investing in shitcoin is gambling because you can be rugged pull at any moment, so I would advise you not to waste your precious time and money on shitcoins because you will regret in the long run. Bitcoin is decentralized making it more unique to invest in for the future.

No amount of education and knowledge will save you from running at loss in shitcoin.

The reason why many new investors are more attracted to investing into shitcoins or what we call memecoins nowadays is because of the hype and potential for quick gains. Memecoins that are popular like PEPE or SHIB often have strong communities. Even popular personalities ride on it's hype to pump the price. It's also more appealing to new investors in crypto since a small investment can turn into a massive gains in less than a day. Your capital can be easily doubled if you enter early. If you tell them about it's risk like they can fall into pump and dump scheme, they will just ignore it. They won't listen if you tell them that bitcoin is the most safest crypto to invest as a starter. Some would even say that the price is too high already that their investment would not gain much profit.

I think it's too early to buy when the markets are this bad and the same blood has spread to Bitcoin, I'm not sure we haven't seen the bottom yet.
I have some cash set aside for bad days like this, maybe I'll buy it gradually or wait to see the bottom.
Even in the current economic situation, I think Bitcoin has remained quite solid, isn't it clear from the current situation that it will get much better results in the future, if I can buy Bitcoin cheaper, I will automatically perceive it as a great thing.
What are you waiting for, you might miss the bottom and just buy at a higher price if you approach investing like this. It's best to do DCA, I think this is one of the safest approaches for you if you think the price can go lower. You may miss the train if you wait for the bottom, while the price of bitcoin could reverse quickly if you don't buy it now. Really this isn't financial advice for you, but I think this is the best time to buy.

If you have cash, then buy now and do DCA. You can buy with 50% now of your total budget, then 25% on the next occasion and 25% again on the third occasion. This is much better than wasting an opportunity like now. By the way, I just saw bitcoin down more than 5% where the price is around $78k, don't you want to buy it?

The top reason I can think of why many people often forget or not to do DCA is they want the maximum potential profit of their investment. They want to buy at the most lowest price they can think of that will give them huge gains. If you ask them when or what price it will be, they can't answer because predicting it accurately is very impossible. It pains them to do DCA if price goes lower than they bought it. To me, DCA strategy is the best approach when investing. Regardless if the price goes up or down, you will consistently buy a certain portion of bitcoin or any type of asset if you think it will benefit you in the future.
