To think that Real Madrid failed to take the opportunity of getting ahead of Barcelona after the 1-1 Barcelona had against Real Betis. The draw which would have been a point drop for Barcelona turned out to be a lift considering that Real Madrid lost to Valencia in a 1-2 defeat.
I think the Spanish La'liga is getting more competitive as the season draws to an end. The league top three positions are still open for the three clubs and if ATM can work harder perhaps they can find the second place but for who's really going to win the league for now it's not certain as what it is in the EPL.
You said "to think that Real Madrid failed to take the opportunity of getting ahead of Barcelona after the 1 - 1 Barcelona had against Real Betis". Now you're sounding as if it was Barcelona that played first before Real Madrid, Barcelona would have extended their lead over Real Madrid to 6 points after Real Madrid slipped against Valencia. Real Madrid couldn't have taken advantage over something that hasn't yet occurred but Barcelona could have taken advantage since Real Madrid own has already occurred.
The more reason why football is very hard to predict, yes Real Madrid played before Barcelona and I was also thinking Barcelona will seize the opportunity to double the point difference between them and Real Madrid but it appears the match was so strong and it was beyond there power to do that. There is something about football and even though Barcelona played before Real Madrid and they played the 1:1 draw Real Madrid wouldn't have still win because that is the setting for that week there is no two ways about it I guess the point difference now is 4.
