I've got childhood friends that have been affected by the abuse of illegal drugs. It did really made their life miserable and the dreams that we've talked about when we were young all shattered into the dark realm and can no longer be found. They think that it's too late for them to change but I've talked to them and told that as long as they're living, there's hope - yeah, the typical words that everyone says for those that are losing hope. There's still hope in life today and we all need to help them even in the slightest that we can like giving them encouraging words and support morally.

Not everyone whose lives have been destroyed by drugs can listen to what you say, some may even be upset if you do your best to convince them that there is a chance for them to change for the better. I don’t understand how many young people's lives end up that way, to be honest, I see it as a choice since you grow up with them and never consider drug abuse as something good.

However, I grew up with a lot of friends who ruined their lives with drugs, I've always wondered how they chose this path because I never thought of doing so even for a second. Many of them believe that only drugs can make them feel better, even when they feel depressed, they think about what will happen in the years coming if they are on drugs. When I tried to talk to some of them, all they would say was that it was time.
