We all know that as we earn income, we're required to pay taxes. Generally, the more you earn, the higher your taxes. But what about countries with weaker economies that don't strictly enforce tax laws? Would you prefer to live in such a place?

Let’s break this down: What do taxes actually do, and what are the pros and cons of living in a country where tax enforcement is weak? Overall, does this benefit the people, or does it ultimately make life harder for them?

I’d rather live in a country where I will pay tax and have the benefit of what I’m paying for, since the taxes are paid to the government to make the citizens benefit from them, such as paying salaries and for infrastructures. You can see that it’s good to be paying the tax. In a country where tax is not strictly enforced, there definitely will be problems in that country because corruption will be there, and the citizen will be left behind.

Moreover, the government can not even be able to meet up with the necessary things that the citizens can enjoy. So it’s better to pay tax and enjoy it because I know the tax will be minimal from what you earn.
