I have been hoping this administration would cut or even eliminate capgains taxes.

Yeah, guilty as charged, as well..."a sucker's bet".
That said, bitcoin either "makes it" in the big leagues or it doesn't.....and if it doesn't, then taking small profit here and there wouldn't matter.
Small profits I don't need-have 401K/Ira, etc for that.
My bet is that bitcoin would make it at least to $10-20 tril (=1/2 gold or full gold value), hopefully, within the next 5 years.
