I would suggest stop using telegram, but if you can't do that than you can surely disable calls from all unknown people that are not already in your contact list.SimpleX chat is much better alternative, but I understand it's not easy for everyone to make that switch.
Let alone ringing my phone and harassing me with a merit request.

I also use Simplex, but you see, a messaging app has the purpose of... messaging people.
Basically, no one uses Simplex (a part of a few selected chaps here on the forum).
There are a few outstanding apps out there (I like Keet.io very much), but if nobody uses them, there is no point.
