I honestly can't believe Arsenal could beat Real Madrid 3-0 so badly. I guess I overestimated the strength of Real's attack, because in the Arsenal match I think Mbappe, Bellingham and Vinicius were more in each other's way on the pitch than helping Real to score and if it wasn't for Courtois' great performance Real would have lost even bigger.
Terrible game of Real and what Ancelotti will do now in the return match is unclear, given that Arsenal can still defend.
Perhaps this is Arsenal's best game of the season, after the game against PSV, when Arsenal managed to score 7 goals.
It was definitely Arsenal’s game of the season. I wonder where this Arsenal was all season, they could have used this level of performance to win the Premier League. I think Real Madrid came into the game overconfident that they were going to get a win. I could see the shock on Madrid players faces when the first goal went in. They underestimated Arsenal in their own home, that’s why they lost.
You have said it all. Yesterday was the first time that I have seen Arsenal fight and win an important match with all determination. Look at how Arsenal played Madrid as if they're a mediocre team and they couldn't do anything but to accept the shame and disgrace.
I don't see any hope for Madrid in the second leg because it's like a mission impossible for them since Arsenal wouldn't just sit down fold their arms and watch Madrid win them by scoring four goals without retaliating back. I can't wait to see Arsenal in the semifinals.
