I don't think anything close to surprise will occur tonight since we have have two teams that haven't been that good in the champions league like Barcelona and Aston Villa are some how doing better than they are doing in the league but when it comes to PSG in their league they are 100% good. This encounter will definitely go to the Ligue 1 giant and you'd agree with me that PSG are more aggressive in the champions than Villa. I believe PSG will eliminate another English team again, I still think PSG will beat Aston Villa without stress that's if they use that force they used against Liverpool but if they don't Aston Villa might struggle to get a draw and playing a draw away from home is an advantage, if Enrique play that attacking style they are known for, we might get more than 2 goals from PSG, so for me I'd say a 3-1 win tonight for the host team.
Where I am expecting a surprise is the match of PSG and Aston Villa which most people believe will be going the way of PSG. Aston Villa may not want to lose that match base on the fact that they have been playing exceptionally well in the champions league despite their recent poor results in the premier league. It will actually be funny if Aston Villa eliminate PSG because PSG eliminated Liverpool, the awaiting champion of the English premiership.
If PSG will win the match, they have to avoid the temptation of underestimating Aston Villa because winning at this level comes with a lot of preparations and commitment. If you look at the matches yesterday, the teams that people expected to win ended up losing. I know the match is going to be interesting so lets look forward to enjoying the game.
It didn't happen as expected but I know for sure that PSG are going to win the game because they are now focusing on the CL games since they have been crowned champions of Ligue 1 so any game they're playing in the champions league they'll give their all and there won't be any excuse for losing. Aston Villa are having a distraction, let me call it that, the league to finish top 4 or to qualify for any European competition next season is what they are fighting for so they can't have all their players fit to battle PSG.
The host of this game did everything a hungry club that is fighting for a title should do, they went out to show how ready they are to face the best and it shows that Villa are not close to the best in the remaining teams in this round. I love how the PSG side played without looking down on Aston Villa and the visitors wasn't good tonight to stop the PSG attackers, maybe this is the end for them even if they play the returning leg it will still be PSG to advance to the next round.
