Crazy that the Denver Nuggets fired their head coach Michael Malone right before the playoffs. We’ll have to see if something happened to cause this or not. Seems like bad timing and after leading the Nuggets to what was nearly a dynasty… I think this sort of thing pretty much eliminates them from championship contention.
Im shocked that this happened. He was a coach for 10 years and they fired him out of nowhere. He had a good place in the league and right before the playoffs. I think they should have waited at least until the end of the season and then make changes in the coaching staff
That is so true, he is the best coach on the Nuggets history, we would forget on how he made the Nuggets a championship team two years ago? And I still remember Jamal Murray's after that, because he thought that coach Malone will trade him after he has his injuries. On the contrary, they keep him and then they won that first ring. And I think we have discussed it already in the other community that there is no job security or tenure to any NBA coaches as they can be fired anytime.

Absolutely nuts. Booth and Malone never liked each other, rarely spoke, and talked behind each other's backs.
With the team struggling on the court, Nuggets ownership decided to fire both. Insane.

This will be hard to the players, they need to adjust for the new coaching system . (IN THE PLAY-OFFS)
I don't know the relationships between Malone and Booth, yeah they might not like each other just like Luka and Nico did, but they have one goal, that is to make another run in the championship for this year and it seems that they are on track as they are still in the playoffs.
But the owner doesn't want to wait and made this bold decision to fire Malone and Booth all together to removed the problems. The last thing I remembered though is that Malone has been calling on his players or criticizing them for not watching films and called them "full of s**t".
And he says that he is just brutally honest.
