Currently watching the Lakers and the Mavericks at Mav's home. The game is so close and we're already near to the end of the 2nd quarter (6 mins). Scores aren't going that much far and always get to tie. 45-43 as of typing this. Luka contributing 21 points already and this half hasn't ended yet.
Luka is putting on a show out there for the Dallas fans. He was even shedding tears in the pregame tribute. I’m sure Dallas appreciates what they’re seeing. He’s leading all scorers at the half with 31 points and the Lakers are winning by 3. So far this is exactly what I wanted to see. I hope he gets 60.
I've seen that moment when he's got those tears. He's still have the heart for the team but what's important is the present. At least Luka got to see that he's still appreciated by the staff and all the fans that have come along with his journey. We're already on the last quarter of the game, quite a lead for the Lakers but the Mavs are catching up. 10:26 remaining to the time and 83-82, smaller lead for the Lakers. Those missed free throws of Luka should have add up but there are so many turn overs.
