I searched on the net for the reason behind firing coach Malone and i see one of those is an internal conflict between Malone and GM Calvin Booth regarding roster construction as Malone wanted to field veteran players while Booth wanted to focus on young talents but sad to see both were leaving the Nuggets franchise.
The executives like GM Calvin needs to let the decision go with the coach. They should just give some thoughts on how to coach better but it's always the coach that knows better on each game that they're playing with. This shouldn't be an issue but of course being a coach has an honor wore on his patch and that's why this argument ended up being fired because he stands to what he think is right as a coach. These conflicts should be just left on the locker and shouldn't spread like wildfire but then, they have parted ways and decided what they think is honorable for them.
