Almost all of crypto crashed 20% in an instance today, liquidating a large number of Long traders, I too lost all of my new and year old Long positions.
Reports claim over $1 billion has been liquidated. My share on that was a small amount. I'm now so used to being liquidated that I laugh at large traders loss than lament on mine own. I've decided to stay away from crypto at least a month before even thinking of whether to buy the dip or not.
https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoin-plummets-9k-as-trumps-tariffs-spark-over-1b-liquidation-frenzy/ETH holders got it even worse, I've seen some twitter post where they say there's this one trader that longed ETH from few years ago and right now getting liquidated.
i also stopped trading on futures because of the tariffs, you can open long position and woke up the next day seeing headlines on the news about trump's tariffs war with your position getting liquidated.
I think DCA or buying the dip is the most plausible right now, no contest. simply because there's no way of getting liquidated and we can just wait it out, moreover the average cost will be low since we've gone to 3 dips already.
I'm sure im not the only one thinking like this.
