In some contexts gambling and trading may have similarities but in a much more responsible handling it may be difficult to apply both. I see many people who are unable to control their addiction in gambling but people are able to control themselves not to get involved in trading excessively. Payouts and stop losses in trading have different natures and maybe we can see how gambling sites can temporarily close withdrawals or reopen after the game is over.
In trading there are stop losses, and in gambling there are cash outs, so even in this respect there are similarities and everything will depend on the person, how much he uses these tools, or how careful he is and is ready to minimize risks. In trading there is a big difference from gambling, for me trading is most often long-term transactions, and gambling is betting for one day, in this I see their huge difference. Trading can forgive small mistakes, a hold will correct this, in gambling there will be no such opportunity.
