I don't expect any surprises when United travels to Parc Olympique Lyonnais, even though Lyon is in great form with six wins in their last seven games.
Europa League is significant for Man United this season, it is the only way to save the season. They have to be ready for all scenarios. United have a good record against Lyon in Europe comp. It can be an additional motivation for them, and the absence of Malick Fofana and winger Ernest Nuamah due to ACL injuries will be an advantage for United.
So, I am still optimistic that United can win the match or at least draw.

The performance of Manchester United this season has made it impossible for us to conclude on what can become of them, ordinarily Manchester United is suppose to win lyon in this match but we wouldn't know now since their performance is now in doubt, recently we have seen lyon improvement in their performance just as you said but what I don't know is if they can be able to resist united here or allow previous records to have it's way.
Personally I think Manchester United has to wake up from slumber, they really need to come up with all they got to win this match, having a history or record against a team is not what actaully matters for me, the major thing is to keep up to that previous record, we have seen how inconsistent Manchester United has been and I don't see Lyon giving up easily for them to get what they want in their home, if it is the Manchester United we use to know, we wouldn't be having any doubt But as it is, lets not put much hope on them so that we wouldn't get disappointed if things don't go they way we expect.
