I honestly can't believe Arsenal could beat Real Madrid 3-0 so badly. I guess I overestimated the strength of Real's attack, because in the Arsenal match I think Mbappe, Bellingham and Vinicius were more in each other's way on the pitch than helping Real to score and if it wasn't for Courtois' great performance Real would have lost even bigger.
Terrible game of Real and what Ancelotti will do now in the return match is unclear, given that Arsenal can still defend.
Perhaps this is Arsenal's best game of the season, after the game against PSV, when Arsenal managed to score 7 goals.
I don't know what Ancelotti will be thinking out of the box currently when Real Madrid meets Arsenal in the second leg. This is coming with lots of pressure for Real Madrid to win by all means because the team can't afford to lose out of the Champions League after coming this far.
Some fans may say luck can be on Real Madrid's side as usual, I doubt that will happen anyway because Real Madrid hasn't shown that this season they are going home with a trophy to add to their trophy collections. Kroos retirement from football is still affecting Real Madrid's formation to win matches. Until they find a better midfield player, they can think of something great like winning important matches
I think Ancelotti will be hoping for a miracle, which sometimes happens at the Santiago Bernabeu. 3:0 is a very big score, but Real are quite able to win back, because earlier Real had already scored 4 Real Sociedad and 5 Salzburg in the Champions League, so Real will be able to score 3 and more, but they still need to try and not concede a goal in their gates, because even 1 goal Arsenal in the return game, reduces the chances of Real to virtually zero.
Bellingham partially replaced Kroos and with this transfer Real were lucky, but the purchase of Mbappe was probably a mistake, because after Mbappe's arrival it became apparent that Vinicius began to play worse, and pass to Mbappe Vinicius almost stopped and very often they rather hinder each other than help. So Ancelotti has a difficult choice, but he still has Rodrigo and Andric, who can strengthen the game, but unfortunately unlike Vinicius, they can not win matches alone, as Vinicius used to do.
