I agree with you. Old Bitcoin holders have seen this story and pattern over and over again; it's now more like a playlist to them. They're just waiting for the price to drop even more so they can buy and accumulate more. The only people panicking or mostly confused about the whole scenario will likely be those who aren't used to the crypto space (Myself Inclusive). But I believe it's just an opportunity to invest more
A real Bitcoin veteran would understand that Bitcoin has an amazing potential for long term growth regardless of how high or low its current price is, thus having no need to have to wait for a dip before they can start accumulating. Buying Dips isn’t completely a bad idea but having to wait for several months, with hopes of a dip before you can buy, that’s an awful idea. Every time is the best time to buy, regardless of the current price.
It is true that a true bitcoin expert knows that bitcoin is not just a price it is a long term technological and economic revolution. And that is why many experienced investors buy bitcoin regularly not paying attention to the current priceecause their perspective is not short term, but for a period of 5-10 years or more. Therefore regardless of the price bitcoin should be bought for its long term potential and buying dips is indeed good but just waiting for a drop means missing opportunities.
