Yeah I can relate to this scenario where you've to pick a team to bet on either by how it sounds when pronounced or it meaning.
Then you literally doesn't give damn contemplating on analysing which team can actually give you winning.
You'll be thet so dormant in the head without undermining if you're loosing or not. All interests is just backing that team up always not untill they encounters a better team of better name. Just crazy and fun as that.
For me, I don't experience it yet. But I think this is also because I don't hang out in sports betting that much and if I do, I usually based on the number of odds only. I love going on higher ones by default but can go on low or minimal if I avail a bonus that has this requirement. This and the former (the OP's subject) are seem happening usually to those that doesn't take sports betting seriously.
I mean they don't analyse the team, the stadium, the weather etc... Because if they do, they will surely not based on the name but based on the ones that has a higher chances of winning. It can only be a coincident if that name of the player/team they pick is also goofy or weird.
