This should be a good momentum for Arsenal to prove themselves in the Champions League because beating Real Madrid with a fairly promising score is a very extraordinary achievement, although in the second leg later they will be much more pressured to play at Real Madrid's home ground which is quite haunted for some teams who have experienced defeat there.
Arsenal will now be more confident in the champions league, most people were just surprise that Arsenal were able to get a win against Real Madrid, am sure they will be so confident in the second leg of the match, and they will try and get a draw in the match even if they can’t get a win, but even as Arsenal are able to win against Real Madrid, but I don’t think the will be able to win the champions league this season.
In the Premier League itself, Arsenal's chances of catching up on Liverpool's points are very small because Liverpool themselves certainly will not let the only title they currently have disappear just like that, so they will fight to get a full victory in the remaining matches.
It’s not possible for Arsenal to catch up with Liverpool, even if Liverpool performance drop, it’s not going to be possible for Arsenal to take over the first position from Liverpool, it’s already to already, they should just focus on the champions league, let’s see how far they can go.
