Why are You tubers using the statement that NordVPN can safe crypto investors from getting hacked?
VPNs can't protect cryptocurrency users from hacking, but as you mentioned, they maintain privacy by changing your geographic location and encrypting your connection, so your computer's real IP address can't be tracked on any website you visit.
Is this even true? What connections do VPN have with crypto wallet? If anything can protect your PC from malware and other viruses shouldn't that be Antivirus?
Since when did Location spoofers and VPN start protecting crypto users from hacks? Someone please explain to me..
Of course, the role of a VPN is different from protecting devices from viruses. If the victim's computer is hacked or downloads a malicious file infected with a TROJAN, the VPN will not be able to protect him from being hacked. All these YouTubers are promoting NordVPN or any VPN; they have received marketing money for this, and they write those catchy titles just to mislead and attract people.
Don't fall for it newbies, VPN job is to change your location.
Antivirus and malware softwares protect your PC from viruses and trojans, even malicious malware.
Don't be misinformed, do your own research, but if you think I am wrong I am open to correction.
This is good advice for beginners. Any software, whether it's a VPN or antivirus, should be downloaded from its official website, not from YouTube channels or unknown sites. Also, cracked software should never be downloaded.
