David won't encourage David De Gea not to return to Manchester United. He's a club legend and legend don't hold grudges against their club. Manchester United management thought they were doing the best thing back then by supporting their then manager Eric Ten Hag. You know Ten Hag never wanted David De Gea in his team, and Manchester United management couldn't keep De Gea in the club and be paying him while it was obvious that the coach don't like him. It was only going to create more chaos in the team, so the best was to let him go. Now that the era of Ten Hag is over and the club wants their legend back, I don't see a reason why he shouldn't go back, provided they can reach an agreement that will benefit both parties.
For David De Gea to even be considering a return to Manchester United in the first place shows just how much love he has for the club especially after the controversial departure from Manchester United. His heart really lies with the club. I don’t see anything bad or wrong with his decision because in the end his happiness is all that matters.
David De Gee is a very important instrument that got Manchester United their reputation in the early days of his football career and at this point considering his current state and position in this club, coming back to Manchester United will put him in a more demanding position and being active more while at Manchester United compared to the series of benches he faces in this current club, so it will be a win-win for both Manchester United and David if the deal sail through.
