I am a little pessimistic about Lazio chances of turning things around in the second leg, it is not easy to catch up on a 2 goal deficit even though they are playing in front of their own supporters. Lazio looks like a team that is running out of energy, in Serie A they are also starting to lose points often. I would not be surprised if Lazio were eliminated, because basically the Europa League is full of surprises. Like the story of last season when Liverpool, who were favourites, were surprisingly knocked out by Atalanta.
At first it was a surprise to me that they were playing so badly, but then I realised that they probably can't do any better. After the match, after looking at the statistics it becomes clear that in general this score of 2-0 is absolutely justified, and Lazio with such a game has little chance to get back. I wasn't surprised that Manchester United missed the victory, we all know the deplorable state of MU, but I didn't expect this from Lazio
