PSG has really proven their quality in the Champions League this season by beating Aston Villa in the first leg and that will certainly make it a little easier for PSG in the second leg because Aston Villa needs two additional goals to be able to equalize the aggregate that happened in the first leg yesterday. I also hope PSG must remain serious in the second leg because a team like Aston Villa can be more dangerous when playing at home in the second leg later.
Yes PSG had an awesome performance in the champions league winning by three goals, most likely they cam make it through to the semi-finals but I doubt if they are going to be able  to get to the finals because to me they not look like it, they will have even more tough teams to face at that point so it doesn't promise to be an easy ride, they may have the experience seeing that they hav e appeared severally in the champions league but they actually haven't gotten that squad toughness yet that can always get them through  except they get lucky probably in this case but if they don't, I don't see  them been able  to make it to that point, since  they have only  the champions league to focus  on, maybe  they are going  to utilise that well enough.
PSG is on the right track to clinch their first Champions League trophy, even though we realize they are not the main candidates. PSG journey to the final heavily depends on their opponent in the semifinals, in my opinion, facing Arsenal in the semifinals would be slightly easier than facing Real Madrid. The second leg match against Aston Villa is quite predictable, PSG is clearly the favorite, and Luis Enrique squad will likely play it safe by just aiming for a draw.
PSG success in securing the Ligue 1 trophy early allows Luis Enrique more freedom to fully shift his players focus to the Champions League, a situation I believe gives PSG a significant advantage.
