Obviously, it backfired on him, and he was quick to suspend the good-for-nothing tariff he had put up for trade in the USA.
He didn't actually suspend the tariffs altogether. He amended them. There is now a 10% tariff valid for 90 days against all countries that didn't retaliate with their own tariffs. I think his administration will now have sit-downs with those nations and work something out. I am not sure what is going to happen with China. It's two stubborn man in a race to see who is the more stubborn one.
Many though that he suspend the tariff but Trumps seems to be playing the mind of people and instead of having those old percentage he release to some countries now he try to lower it down at 10% to see what will be the approach made by countries he sanctioned.
But I guess the damage has been done already and its better for country to diversify their range then better to find more trade partners so that they can hurt US on the mistake they made.
If they always depends on US market then maybe they cannot see some good growth especially if US would implement a more worse law that can affect them so bad.
Both China and US will provably in huge trade wars and let see who among this country would remain standing especially that this situation might cause huge damage to their economy.
Also thank you @Betfury for sharing this nice promotion and provably lots of people here is excited to join that event.
