I assume we’re all mature and responsible gamblers here, but from time to time, we still make mistakes. One of the most common mistakes is failing to control our emotions, we know where that leads.. losses, and the higher the stakes, the bigger the potential losses we have to endure.

That’s why it’s important that before placing big bets, we are already emotionally stable and disciplined enough to follow our strategy consistently.

So, guys, how do you control your emotions while gambling? And how has it benefited you?
I can't say with certainty that I can control my emotions, especially since it's easy to plan to control them, but it's really hard to actually control and refrain from them. I have lost money by participating in gambling many times and have tried to control myself from gambling many times. Although I was able to abstain for a while, at some point I could not control myself completely. I may not have complete control now, but I have been able to control myself to some extent when it comes to betting on gambling and losing money like before.

I totally understand your point because i do feel very emotional and get angered by my lose but recently I don't really get all emotional when I lose cause first off before I place a bet I do acknowledge that the possibility of winning is 50/50 and i cant be very successful every time, it helps me bet with what I can afford to lose knowing fully well that I'll be very hurt like before If I don't gamble responsibly. Also, abstaining from it for a while helps alot cause a gambler won't indulge on unnecessary bet cause they're trying recover losing streaks, it would also help a gambler restrategise on possible ways to avoid numerous losing streaks, however if a gambler understand that they can't beat the house, then bet with spare money then they feel very emotional when they lose.
