Manchester United is thinking to re-united with De Gea after they let him left the club last years. They must be feeling shamed with their horrible decision to replace a quality, and proven goal keeper with a flop.

If they're now realizing their mistake, and wanna sign De Gea back again. I fully support it as long as they're not playing with him.

De gea has proven if he's still good goal keeper at Fiorentina, and not yet finished. He's still worthy to play at EPL.
I think it's a little too late for them though and If I was DDG, I would never entertain any nonsense of returning to Manchester United. From the past observation in Football, good goalkeeper usually get better with age since they have so much experience in-between the goal posts.

Let them just concentrate on Onana and not fumble him too. Maybe he could also turn out to be much better with age.
I won't encourage David De Gea not to return to Manchester United. He's a club legend and legend don't hold grudges against their club. Manchester United management thought they were doing the best thing back then by supporting their then manager Eric Ten Hag. You know Ten Hag never wanted David De Gea in his team, and Manchester United management couldn't keep De Gea in the club and be paying him while it was obvious that the coach don't like him. It was only going to create more chaos in the team, so the best was to let him go. Now that the era of Ten Hag is over and the club wants their legend back, I don't see a reason why he shouldn't go back, provided they can reach an agreement that will benefit both parties.
Sometimes football players grow up to love a particular team and often find it hard to exit such teams and this could be situation David de Gea could have found himself in when leaving Manchester United. Right now there rumours and speculations that he could be on the verge of returning to the club he left some years back but I don't think this would be a good decision for the Spanish goalkeeper because Manchester United isn't in good shape at the moment and his presence wouldn't do much to change the status quo, so it would be best for him to consider playing elsewhere.
