I know I'm not the only person to be merged mining on local p2pool and not be receiving any MON.
I am not receiving any MON to my wallet.

If anyone knows how to find out if I am mining MON and if so where it is, I'd appreciate it very much.

Exactly the same issue here. I can see that monocled is receiving API calls from p2pool, and I'm getting shares and vert to my vert address - just no transactions happening in the MON wallet.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be the case?
