Even though Arsenal applies the same energy they are using to play in the UEFA Champions League to their remaining matches in the Premier League, they still won't be able to close in with Liverpool in the Premier League table because Liverpool can't drop the points that will allow Arsenal to overtake them in the Premier League table and win the Premier League title. Arsenal should leave chasing Liverpool for the Premier League title because they have already lost the battle; they should focus on the UEFA Champions League so that they can knock out Real Madrid and be close to winning the UEFA Champions League trophy.
I think you're very right, personally I don't see Liverpool creating such avenue for arsenal to meet them or even surpass them in the league standings, I know they made English premier League teams proud in the UEFA champions League fews days ago where they beat the spanish laliga against on a 3:0 victory in their favour but when it comes to the English premiership itself, am not seeing arsenal as a team that has balanced, despite that we have seen them win few matches recently, I don't still trust their performance, I will even want them to show some strength at this stage of the competition so that we can see what they have got, I know am that kind of football enthusiasts that don't like to conclude things regarding to football but it is unfortunate that there's nothing any team in the English premiership can do currently to stop Liverpool from being the English premier league champions for this season.
Arsenal can complete winning Realmadrid for us in the UEFA champions League but as for winning the UEFA champions League utself, I wouldn't also give it to them because sometimes they get unserious when you least expect.
