Real Madrid officially asked La Liga to play the game vs Alaves on Saturday, instead of Sunday, so they can have more time to rest for the Arsenal game…

…La Liga said NO, reports La Ser.
Is this a sign that Real Madrid is being afraid of Arsenal or it should be a sign to Arsenal that Real Madrid is planning them seriously.
My concern is how Laliga outrightly said No in reply. If Real Madrid have that advantage, in the future many clubs in Laliga would want such a privilege and it would be a problem.

If I were Real Madrid, I would focus in Laliga. It would not be fine to lose against Alaves because of champions league they are not sure about.

I don't think that they're afraid of Arsenal, Madrid only need more space to rest and train ahead of their UCL match on Wednesday against Arsenal. It isn't a bad request because if you look at EPL game, Arsenal is playing today and that will give the more time to focus on how to win Madrid on Wednesday. It's funny to see that Madrid the champions are not certain of winning the second leg match.
