I can't say with certainty that I can control my emotions, especially since it's easy to plan to control them, but it's really hard to actually control and refrain from them. I have lost money by participating in gambling many times and have tried to control myself from gambling many times. Although I was able to abstain for a while, at some point I could not control myself completely. I may not have complete control now, but I have been able to control myself to some extent when it comes to betting on gambling and losing money like before.
I understand, controlling emotions is very difficult, especially when you are in gambling, feelings and instincts always dominate over analysis which results in bad feelings when you lose, so to prevent deep losses, you must be able to lower your expectations to the lowest point, because when you decide not to expect full victory and consider gambling as entertainment, your emotions will be more stable, because you are prepared for the worst that will happen.
Next you can set a limit or allocation of gambling funds, there are many good effects of this, by having a limit you can have better emotional control, even when you lose your emotions will be more stable even though the feeling of upset always appears at every moment that we don't like, and never use money for living needs to gamble, especially if using borrowed money, this will make your psychological burden heavier.
