As a gambler, I don't have positive results which I could consider to be consequence of serendipity. I have more losses than winnings on my history, so my personal experience has nothing to do with the example you brought to this thread.

On the other hand, I can relate the phenomenon to my experience in gambling industry as a worker, through signature campaign, and as an investor, by investing in casino bankroll many years ago. Then I can think on my life before I was introduced to this industry and compare to it right now to reach the conclusion I have met serendipity (financially speaking).
