The similar experience that I can recall that will fall under the meaning of serendipity happened almost ten years ago I was betting in a horse race, and I had a big hunch that I could win in a winner-take-all race selection. I ended up taking out a loan, even though I was jobless. I ended up winning 5 digits after paying the loan and invested it in a friend's fruit stand that tripled my investment. It saved me and my family's basic needs.
It's hard to have this kind of serendipity experience, but you'll always remember it and wish that you could repeat it.
