I'm trying to understand what is going on between the two contenders for the title. Last time out, they both won their games and this time they are ending in draws. It's as if no one wants to one up the other because this is the time that Bayer Leverkusen more especially should have used to close the gap because it's looking as if Bayern Munich don't want to be serious.
When I saw Dortmund taking the lead, I wasn't overly excited because I know that they will not be able to hold that lead for long and although it mounted more pressure on Bayern, it still didn't stop them from getting themselves a goal and taking the lead for some time. As it is, I can say that the race for who will win the title is more interesting now more than ever and I really favor Xabi Alonso's men to win more than Bayern Munich.
It was an exciting and balanced match, there is the same balance in the league standings. Especially Bayern coming from 0-1 behind to take the lead 2-1, but Dortmund equalizing in the last minutes was another drama in the match. Although Bayern Munich had more possession of the ball, they had difficulty scoring goals, especially in the first half.
Bayern Munich played more aggressively in the second half and scored two goals. If they could have scored one more goal in the first half, they would have finished this match with a win. Dortmund played disciplined until the last minutes, maybe they were better in defense than Bayern Munich. This draw was a fair result for both teams.
