Within my maintenance system, since 2015, I have been selling as the BTC price goes up and buying as it goes down, so yeah, I buy bitcoin regularly on dips.  My way of selling has evolved through the years, and I think that I first was selling close to 10% of my stash for every time that the BTC price doubled in price, and these days I probably sell less than 3% of my stash for every time that the BTC price doubles.

If I may ask sir, where you selling close to 10% of your Bitcoin back then because you didn't believe in Bitcoin ( you didn't see the potential) and is it because you have seen the potential of Bitcoin that is why you are now selling less than 3%? I guess What you were doing back then was spot trading not really an investment and I believe you would have gotten more fraction or number of Bitcoin by now if you have not being selling close to 10% of your Bitcoin. However, I think the most important thing is that you have a good portfolio and whether you sell or not it won't affect you in any way. if you knew Bitcoin will be this great will you still be selling close to 10% then?
Don't compare yourself to an investor who have been buying Bitcoin for over 10 to 12 years now. If I am wrong @JayJuanGee do well to correct me. He must have accumulated enough to sell some percentage of his stash, at the same time playing around the market with less than 10% for more sats. He may or may not have the same believe on Bitcoin the way he has it now but whatever, the experience really matte. Like he earlier stated one reason you see him having conversations on this thread is to actually help investors both new and existing here to get to the level of accumulation he has. You know at some point you can choose to sell when you have reached a maturity period where your investment will not be shaky even if you remove some percent from it. And yeah, some folks might get it wrong by selling off, you don't have to sell off your bitcoin it is wrong to do that.

It seems you misunderstood what I was saying, I was not in any way trying to compare myself to JayJuanGee. When did I even start Bitcoin investment to be comparing myself and it will  be stupid or insane for me to do that knowing fully well that I am still a low coiner. However, I was just asking questions to be sure of something because I somehow believe sir JayJuanGee never knew Bitcoin will go to the extent, maybe that was why he was selling close to 10%. And yes, you are correct it will be unwise for someone to sell there investment when it is not due because what one would have gained if they hold for long time will be very different from selling early. I also appreciate the fact JayJuanGee has been here to guide and direct most of us that are interested in Bitcoin investment and before I use to think he is the owner of this thread.
