🚨 Stake.com Silencing Users After Imposing 15% Withdrawal Tax in India — Legal Compliance or Strategic Deflection?

Hey folks,

I want to shed light on a growing concern affecting Indian users on Stake.com — and perhaps others globally:

❗ 15% Tax on INR Withdrawals
Stake recently began charging a 15% fee on INR fiat withdrawals, claiming it's due to “legal compliance” with Indian banking regulations.

Now they say they’re operating legally — but what about the months (or years) they were openly violating Indian payment laws by routing UPI deposits through 3rd-party vendors?

Many of us, myself included, had our bank accounts frozen due to these shady transactions, and Stake never took responsibility.

😡 Selective Refunds & Ignored Complaints
Some users are mysteriously refunded.
Others, despite facing verifiable financial damage and emotional trauma, are stonewalled.

Their classic response?
“Everything has been answered” — even when nothing was actually addressed. It's gaslighting at scale.

❌ Support Shutdown: Email Channel Gone
Stake has officially discontinued email support. Here's what I received:

Quote
"We have moved to our live support solution located on the Stake website… This Email will no longer be serviced."

But here's the trick — live chat becomes inaccessible once your account is placed on withdrawal-only mode, or if you start asking the “wrong” questions.

This isn't a move toward better support. It's a deliberate tactic to:
  • Silence users
  • Avoid written paper trails
  • Dodge data access requests
  • Escape legal scrutiny

⚠️ This Is NOT Responsible Gambling – It’s Corporate Gaslighting
This is no longer about addiction or user behavior. It’s about:
  • Deliberate evasion of responsibility
  • Mental and emotional destabilization of users
  • Manipulation via selective communication and refund bias

I've escalated this to the Curacao Gaming Control Board (XCM) and the Gambling Commission of India.

If you've experienced similar mistreatment — don’t stay silent. Document everything. Speak out. Demand answers.

As Predicted: 😏

Finally, I got scammed by Stake. I never expected this kind of reply from their support.

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to Stake support team.
After reviewing this once more, our team has confirmed that your transaction was not sent to Stake, so you will not be able to receive those funds either.

Please, review the information entered at the moment of transfer.

Kind regards,

⚠️ WARNING: Stake.com SCAMMED A USER – ₹500 (~$5.80) STOLEN VIA UPI DEPOSIT

Another Indian user has just been scammed by Stake after depositing ₹500 INR (~$5.80 USD) via UPI.

Support’s official response?

Quote
"Your transaction was not sent to Stake."
"We are merely a receiving platform."
"The payment provider is in charge."

Which means:
  • Stake was using 3rd-party vendors for UPI deposits before the 15% “compliance fee” started
  • They never informed users about this change
  • They now deny refunds — even when they admit the funds never reached Stake

The support agent “VladimirBa” offered vague, robotic responses and dodged responsibility.
Even their “English expert” agent pretended not to understand the issue.

Meanwhile @holydarkness — notorious for defending Stake no matter what — has refused to comment.

🚨 THIS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING
This is a clear pattern of:
  • No transparency on payment methods
  • No safety net for lost deposits
  • No escalation or accountability path

And this was just a ₹500 (~$5) transaction

If they’re comfortable stealing small deposits, imagine what happens with larger amounts.

🔴 Stake hides behind “payment providers” to avoid refunds.
Their unspoken motto:
“Blame the user. Protect the scam.”

If you’ve been gaslit, ignored, or scammed — come forward. Your voice matters.

Together, we can hold them accountable.
