Banks are also driving Innovation in financial services, such as online lending, digital payments and mobile banking, which can as well increase financial inclusion and access to financial services.
Banks also provide loans and credit to individuals, businesses and government, enabling them to invest, grow and achieve their goals.
So my question now is with all I just said do we still need banks.
It is clear that we still need them because banks are a product of the government in an effort to provide services to the community and the innovations they issue in the form of convenience products as you mentioned are innovations so that they are not left behind in terms of the services provided. For some people who are not touched by business, banks can be said to be not so needed because saving money in a bank is not productive and instead they can buy gold as a much more productive step.
From a certain point of view, banks can be said to make it easier for someone to use the services they provide and for other people, banks can be said to be not so important because they have never been involved in banking services. So when this is asked, from which point of view do we want to comment so that the importance of banks or not depends on the use of each person.
