So my question now is with all I just said do we still need banks.
Of course, whether we like it or not, we do need banks because we can't get rid of fiat as it's a basic need; we need cash to spend because we have no other way to buy goods and services at the moment.
Cryptocurrencies are new, and they aren't accepted everywhere, and even though we use them to make investments or store our money, they aren't as functional in an economy as fiat currencies are because they are not as recognized. So despite the fact that many of us don't like the traditional financial systems in this world, we are compelled to use them as we have no other options.
The financial services and everything you have mentioned are barely of much use because they come with a lot of headaches, you need to do paperwork to get your hands on your own money that you've deposited in a bank if you want to withdraw a large amount, it sucks, but as I said, we still do it because they are the ones that control the whole financial system at the moment.
