Like I’ve been saying over and over again, Arsenal had already given up on the Premier League—there’s really nothing left to fight for at this point. If you’ve been following their games, you’ll notice they haven’t even been starting key players in league matches.
Meanwhile, Madrid’s been making a lot of noise about comebacks, but we’ll see how that plays out. Wednesday isn’t far off
It is not a noise but rather a testament to what Real Madrid have done in previous seasons, that Real Madrid have won more Champions League trophies, whereas Arsenal have yet to experience what it is like to be a team capable of winning the Champions League. So it is more a testament to what is already there, not just the noise and what was seen in the first leg was a great free-kick from one Arsenal player, while the others were just players who worked well together in the game.
