I really want to know about those who believe on having a trading mentor, how do you choose them?
What are the quality of choosing a trading mentor, is it by the result they has or by the profits they preached they made regularly without you seeing or what?
Please let us discuss how to choose a trading mentor.
For me I like the way he shows me how its done and I can understand it. I dont care whether its got a good result or average, since I am learning and obviously some might say its based on result, no, sometimes the market is not that in favor of your knowledge on trading frameworks. But a good mentor will definitely give you and show you results since he is a good trader and experience one.
If you can hire a mentor, then find someone that can be a lot helpful to your trading journey. Someone who can teach you how everything should be started, how the process should be done, and the possible outcomes or the results afterwards. Someone that is highly transparent, and you know that he’s being honest with you. And most of all, someone that can motivate you all the way, especially that you are still in the process of learning.
Everything will be that depending or according into your preference on which if you do find yourself having that kind of benefits or having that kind of fast paced kind of learning or making things that more lot simpler since you wont be needing up to make up some research then go ahead and get a mentor but if you dont have any budget or you do find yourself having that kind of capability on learning without the need of any mentor then it will be that up to you and go solo or self learn. Just like the rest been saying that you wont be needing up someone to teach you because everything or anything could be searched online. Come to think that there are even those mentors or gurus who do sell up things on which you can actually obtain it free online if you do just put up some effort on trying out to look for those valuable information on which it will be that contributing into your overall learning. It is just that too impossible that you cant search up those information that needed up.
How to choose?
-Good winning rate
-Long duration trading
-Consistency on his traders
-Positive PnL.
-Live actual execution of trades and not just paper trading
In overall, the primary target or goal you do have is to make yourself learn. If you do have the money and wanted to make it at least a little bit fast or organized
then having a mentor is good but if you do have no budget and having that practicality then its better to be self learn.
